A Technical Tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon

McPhillips Street Station is much more than a Casino! On Sunday, November 4, 2007, it was the setting for a dinner and wine-tasting extraordinaire!  

The evening began with a reception show-casing a Cabernet Rose, accompanied by appetizers-to-die-for!  Next, SAW Members tasted, listened and learned during a technical tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon.  Leading the tasting was Ben MacPhee-Sigurdson, wine columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press.  Following the tasting, Members enjoyed a delicious dinner matched with more Cabernet Sauvignon.

What an evening!
