SOCIETY FOR AMERICAN WINES - Winnipeg Chapter

On Friday, June 8, 2007, Zinfandel was the star of the show! Four blockbuster Zins vied for first place favourite during the technical tasting. Wines, dinner and company combined to make the evening a memorable one!

Our very special guest, Mary Speer, newly appointed American Consul in Winnipeg, is shown below (pink jacket) with Gerry Spindler, German Consul and kingpin of the local German Wine Society, his wife Debbie, and Majorie Fortier, President of the Winnipeg Chapter of the Society for American Wines (at right).
